Would you buy it?
If you came across a website that sold bath and body essentials for a fantastic price would you purchase from it online? What are some essentials that you would like to see on the market? I’m asking this because i’m launching my own bussiness, first I wanted to sell perfume but now i’m spreading it to all bath and body essentials. What would a good name be for my bussiness? Where is an outlet in the Houston area that sells fragrance oils, soap molds etc.? Thanx for reading!

If they were great quality and smelled good, definitely!!
I sell products like this through my network marketing company, and I find that the most popular are the sugar scrub and the lipgloss, and the body wash.
A good name? how about Divine? or Enchanted..something dreamy that gets people’s senses going!

People will purchase from your web site if they know about it. You have to be able to accept credit card payments. go to any drugstore and see what they sell to decide what you want to carry. A lot of people nowadays are looking for the kinds of soaps, shampoos, creams, etc sold in health food stores, items without harsh chemicals made of natural and organic products. Health food stores typically have high markups, so if you can sell such items for less, I think you could do well.
As for names, I like something with the word “bubbles’” in it. The Soap Bubble, Bubbles and Foams, Bubbles and Creams. There must be hundreds of better names. I can’t help you on outlets.

I used to sell Amway and part of their product line was perfume and health products. My sales were mainly those two lines of products. I also had a web page for my clients to contact me and order different items. What I found out that once clients(customers) learn about you and come to trust you then your product line will take off. Customers of mine started with small orders and then once they knew that I was trustworthy and they got hold of the products, they ordered more. You will have a lot of leg and homework to do but I know that you will succeed.

I would start selling little sample bottles to see if the buyer might get a rash or dry skin ect from it. Also a cute name might be :Bubbles by______ or sweetness from _____ I would think it would be even better if the stuff you used was all natural! sry i don’t know of any places in Houston (I live across the country)

I have actually been involved in that business, making the products and selling them. You need to work it 2 ways:
1 – You have to have a physical store, or a way for people to buy from you directly by coming to your location. The reason for that is because people will want to try your products first before they trust buying them online. People want to smell them and try the lotions before re-ordering online.
2 – Get your website going asap so that customers that recommend your products to friends and family in distant cities can order from you online.
This type of product is a more face-to-face purchase but you can make some good online sales as well.
Not sure about Houston suppliers but you need to buy from WHOLESALE companies, not other retailers.
