My friend always wears my “signature” perfume?
A friend of mine has been doing this for years. When we were teenagers, she went out and bought the same perfume I amways wore.
Now, 10 years later, she wants a bottle of the hard to find, only online, perfume oil I always wear for X-Mas. Even weirder, her bf hates the perfume oils (I have given her some samples) and she would never even wear it because of that
I think it’s weird and she needs to find her own signature scent.
Can anyone possibly explain her behavior??????
My friend has a real condescending nature. She’s nice but will always say something rude (usually in a nice way) whenever I see or talk to her. It’s like she is trying to make me feel bad and herself better. So I will look up to her. The stealing of the perfume is kind of like a mean chick who steals a boyfriend or husband. Kind of like “haha look what I can do.” Shes a weird chick.

jealousy or wanting to be like you. she’s afraid that you have something she doesn’t so she wants to get it to so she’ll feel special.

I had the same problem with my best friend. she copied everything i did and bought. after a while i decided to look at it as a major compliment. she looks up to you .

Chill out and don’t worry about it. There’s more important things in life than who wears what perfume.

She is obviously jealous of you, and in her love/hate jealously wants to be like you and dislikes you at times because you can’t.
Try telling her that the perfume she compliments you on is something else. If she buys it and thinks it doesn’t seem right, tell her perfume smells different on everyone.
Whatever you do, do not accept food gifts from her as Christmas presents, as they would be just ways to fatten you up so she can more easily take your skin to wear when the time comes……
