Archive for the ‘ Buy Perfume Online ’ Category

So my fiance messed up my birthday. He waited until the night before my birthday to purchase me tickets online for a Broadway show, and it turned out, they were sold out. Then, he said, instead, we’ll take a trip to Boston for a weekend. Great idea, right? I thought so.

The problem is, he’s waiting for test results that will come in on Dec. 15th to find out if he’s able to keep the job he has. If he passes, and he keeps the job, we go to Boston. If not, no trip. So I didn’t get a present. 50/50 chance either way.

His defense is that he’s very stressed out over his job. Understandable! However, my stance is that he knew his job stuff before my birthday, so he should’ve chosen something other than the night before to buy my present. I’ve also given him plenty of ideas, including perfume, bath and body stuff, clothing, purses, etc., that will cost FAR less money.

I’m not concerned about the material goods, at all. I just feel like he messed up. Do I have a right to be mad?
It’s not a drug test….it’s a very difficult written examination offered by the state….he’s completely clean and sober.

And, thank you to everyone who pointed out things from a guy’s point of view. I’m such a girl!
Thank you to everyone who offered their advice. I really did want to know what other people thought about the situation, because I honestly couldn’t tell if I was being selfish or not. The truth of the matter is that he is a fantastic person, and I know we are deeply in love and will have a great marriage, because we communicate very well. I just wanted to know if I had a right to be upset!

I thought there were so many good answers, that I’m going to open this up to voting. I really couldn’t decide which was the best.

Thanks, everyone! (except the one about the drug tests….sounds like you’ve had some experiences with some real losers!! lol)

Hi, I want to make an online store, and I need a website that is totally free! But, you can pay if you want your own domain, ect.
Something that is free for basic setup. NOT FREEWEBS! I allready have weebly.com but it doesn’t have anything to make a store. It is a small store with lip balm, lip gloss, perfume things like that.

Any good websites that are free from the beginning and you can make an online store where you can just click and buy and pay for the item, except freewebs!!!!

Thank you!*!*!*!*^!*!*!*!^!*!*!*!^

When shopping for pearl jewelry, consider the factors that affect the value. This includes the luster, the thickness, the shape, the texture, the size and the color. Understand that the luster refers to the glow or brilliance of the finish. High quality pearls have a high shine.

Be aware of the shape of the pearls. Look for very round ones that have a smooth texture or surface that is not marred by imperfections.
Understand that the size of pearls is measured in millimeters. Try on different sizes to see what suits you best.
Also try on different pearl lengths. The most popular styles are in the 17 to 19 inch length range, which is very versatile and goes with many outfits.
Consider buying a graduated strand of pearls with the largest in the center and then getting progressively smaller toward the clasp.
Realize that pearls come in different colors. Some of the most popular options include shades of white, cream, gold and black.
Whether you are buying a pair of earrings or a necklace, make sure that the pearls match each other well, which adds to the value.
Shop around and look at the four types of cultured pearls that exist: Akoya pearls are the most affordable and appeal to a wide range of people with their high quality and luster. Other options include black Tahitian pearls and South Sea Pearls, which come with a golden tint or in white, or freshwater pearls, the least expensive choice.
Understand that pearls come in different grades: AAA and AAA+ quality are the highest quality. For less expensive options, try A or AA.
Just as the range of pearls is large, so is the quality and price range. Look for pearls at fine jewelry stores, online stores and auctions.
Make sure you know your maximum price range and look at the options within this range to get the most for your money.
Don’t limit your jewelry searching to one place. Different jewelers carry different selections, so shop around to see what is out there.
Ask about the grade of pearls before you buy and request documentation of the value.
Lay the strand of pearls flat on the velvet case to look for any blemishes before you close the deal.
Make sure that if an outside appraiser doesn’t agree with the valuation of the pearls, you can get your money back

How to Clean Pearls:
Don’t put on your pearls until after you’ve put on your makeup, perfume and lotions. This will prevent these products from building up on your jewelry.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe your pearls after you take them off.
Consider buying a special cleaning solution that is formulated specifically for pearls.
You can also ask a jeweler to professionally clean them for you.
If your pearls have become dull, use a damp cloth to gently pat them clean, then let them dry flat.
To return the luster, wipe the pearls with a little olive oil on a cloth. This should bring the shine back.
How to Care for Pearls:

Realize that pearls are very delicate so handle them with care to ensure they will last so you can hand them down to future generations.

Store them away from any other jewelry, as other gemstones can scratch them.

Select a velvet-lined jewelry box with separate compartments or keep them in a silk pouch.

Check the silk cord that holds the pearls regularly to be
sure it is not fraying.

Every year or two, ask a professional jeweler to restring your strand of pearls.

Insist on using pure silk thread or a nylon necklace cord. Both are strong and durable.

Ask to have your pearls individually knotted. This will prevent the pearls from rubbing against each other and will also protect them if the cord were to break.

If you prefer a more modern look, instead of having pearls strung on a rope, ask for them to be strung on a wire instead.
Caution:
Never put your pearls on top of your television or radiator. The heat can change the color.

Quick Tips:
Only use a cleaner that says it is safe for pearls. Anything else can harm the fragile texture.

Store your pearls flat so the string does not get stretched.

Once you venture into the world of aromatherapy, you’ll quickly realize that as with the many tantalizing scents, there are also numerous purchasing sources. You likely will have heard of some of these companies before, but many names will be brand new to you. How can you decide which aromatherapy company is most worthy of your business? Here are some issues to consider.

Just as you would when buying any product you’re not familiar with, it’ll be to your advantage to research the company before opening your wallet. Look for and read the company’s return policy. And, especially when shopping online, make sure you’re able to reach a human being should you need assistance.

Know your prices before you shop. By knowing which oils you would expect to pay more for, such as those considered exotic, you’ll have a better idea whether or not the asking price is accurate. The price of aromatherapy products and ingredients should vary but still should fall within ‘commonly-accepted’ price ranges.

Your shopping experience will be easier if you know about the properties of different aromatherapy ingredients. If you’re a newbie, then you should at least be prepared to explain the goals you’re trying to achieve. Whether you’re looking to relax or whether you’re looking to clear your congestion will drive the decision as to the types of aromatherapy products you should be purchasing.

Watch out for essential oils that are bottled using clear or plastic bottles. Light and plastic can damage and contaminate these oils. Dark-colored glass bottles (amber or dark blue) are best for storage.

Also watch out for dust. Why? An essential oil’s properties and therefore its effectiveness will over time, start to diminish. Dust is a sign that the bottle’s already spent some time on the shelf and perhaps isn’t as fresh as it could be.

The product won’t be pure if it’s made using fragrant oils or perfume. Read the labels because you might not be getting the deal you think you are. When shopping online, read the product descriptions thoroughly. If you don’t have time for the fine print, then it’s not the right time to shop. Plan to shop when you are not rushed.

Whether to shop offline or online is a big question regardless of the product you’re purchasing. There are benefits of both and it really is more a matter of choosing the method you’re most comfortable with.

Of course, the selection you’ll find on the Internet is vast and shopping from the comfort of your own home certainly is easy. And there may not be a conveniently located aromatherapy outlet in your neighborhood, which would make online shopping your only choice.

Regardless of where you purchase the products and ingredients you’ll be using for aromatherapy and blending, once you have found a source you’re comfortable with, become a loyal customer. Aromatherapy products are all-natural and as such, consistency is always a challenge. You might find a single source offers your best chance of getting consistent quality.

My mother in law was an Avon rep for a while. She really didn’t make any sales so she stopped doing it. While she was a rep, she would bring books over for me to look at. When I asked her for samples of lipsticks and perfume, she said that she didn’t have any because she had to buy them herself. She also said she had to buy her books every month.

I am interested in becoming a rep. I know someone that used to do Avon back in the 80’s but she always had samples. I was under the impression you get them free. I haven’t found any information online telling me that you have to buy them. Is my mother in law right?
Does anyone know approximately how much it runs for books/samples. I have about $75 in savings. I am trying to plan ahead until I start making some money that I can put that back into my business.

In the early 90’s I wore this perfume. I d/k why but I stopped wearing it. About a year ago I decided I wanted to wear it again. I went to several perfume shops (in malls) and was told it had been discontinued. Yesterday, a friend of mine found out they didn’t make her favorite perfume anymore. She found it on Ebay. I decided to try and find Kenxo by Kenzo online and I did! I want to buy it, but is this stuff really old? Or Fake? I d/k even know when this perfume would have been discontinued if it was. Thanks.
