What Are The Essential Ingredients In Organic Face Cream ?

Why do Italians look younger? I do NOT think that they are using any more organic face cream than you or me. I do know, however, after living in the country for over thirty years, that their diet is the key to this question.
Apart from the olive oil, fruit and vegetables which forms a staple part of their diet, they also drink red wine. Red wine contains resveratrol and that means it is full of antioxidants and these are so important for a healthy looking skin. Fruit, vegetables and nuts all contain antioxidants too and there is nothing better for a healthy looking complexion.
Antioxidants should be an important part of anyone’s diet. Why? Simply because they can fight the free radicals which can damage cells and cause aging, illnesses and general decline.. I am convinced this is why Italian look better and live longer. Their incidence of heart disease and cancer are also less than other industrialized nations.
Gylcerine and mineral oils should NOT be part of any antioxidant face cream organic components. Another element which should have no place in any antioxidant face cream organic list of ingredients is ‘parfum’ as it is often listed. As perfumes are trade secrets, cosmetic companies can get away with this by using the French word and do not have to state the ingredients which are usually mostly alcohol. This is bad for skin health and the best skin care products are fragrance free.
The ideal organic face cream should contain plant extracts and natural oils,vegetable-based waxes and silicones. Let me tell you about one of the best ingredients in an organic face cream that I found on the other side of the globe.
It is called Wakame and it is actually a Japanese type of algae or seaweed. It has potent antioxidant properties and it is full of vitamins and minerals. It has great moisturizing, calming properties for healing damaged skin. It has lots of calcium, potassium and iron and is full of the vitamins from the B group.
